My reading in this section is hit and miss, and the reviewing of books has also been sporadic, concentrating on the best that I've read. I'll try to add more from time to time.

Christian Fiction

  • The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Have you read these as an adult? Do you long to feel the miracle, mystery, and right-ness of your faith again? Seven books make up the series. Although The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is considered first, and is pivotal to the rest of the series, I like to read them chronologically, and have done so eleven times. Chronologically they are:
    • The Magician's Nephew
    • The Horse and His Boy
    • The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
    • Prince Caspian
    • The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
    • The Silver Chair
    • The Last Battle

  • The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis. His fictional space trilogy, listed chronologically. The middle one should be read first if you've never sampled these. They are the practical result of Lewis' philosophy that "any amount of theology can now be smuggled into people's minds under cover of romance."
    • Perelandra
    • Out of the Silent Planet
    • That Hideous Strength
