In Northwest Ohio, the NCT follows the old Wabash-Cannonball rail route, and is supported by NORTA
The Buckeye Trail is concurrent with most of the NCT miles in Ohio.
The far east end of the trail in Ohio is maintained by the Great Trail - Sandy Beaver Canal Chapter of the NCTA. This link was under construction in March 2000, but you might check to see if it is working.

The Ohio DNR State Park information is excellent and will help a long-distance hiker piece together ways to cross the state since there are few camping sites available directly on the Buckeye Trail.
