OOPS! I wanted to see the Ohio links.
In May, 1998, I hiked 47 miles with Rich Pfeiffer, through the New Straitsville section. Rich's account of the hike with pictures of mine can be read this month on the BTA web site.
Ohio in the spring is aglow with flowers. Redbud lines the trail near Stony Creek, and Morgan's Fork runs clear and cold.
The Little Miami Scenic Trail is a paved rail-trail concurrent with the NCT. Husband Omer bladed while I hiked! P.S. He says he is willing to "argue" about anything with anyone: om@t-one.net
Winter hikes in Ohio are brisk but beautiful. The Maumee River glistens in morning sun, and a snack beside Blue Creek tastes extra good in the crisp air.
