The Minnesota Historical Society brings history to life like no other state does. Their home page can take you on many cyber trips.

A collection of essays by 5th graders about the history of the Mesabi Iron Range. Don't bypass this just because it's written by kids. You will learn a lot!

Biology

There was lots of evidence of beaver on the trail.

Personal Pages of folks using the trail

The NCT may be re-routed through the "Arrowhead" region. If so, it will include the Superior Hiking Trail. A hike account of this trail by Warren Wolfe appeared in the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
