He and his wife Kathy have 3 children, Shannon, a special education teacher, Roger II who is finishing his Associates Degree at West Shore Community College, and Linda who will graduate from High School in 1998.

Pictured at the right is how Roger looks now, along with his youngest daughter Linda who was this year's Mason County Eastern Homecoming Queen (somewhat of a tradition in the Nash family as Shannon was MCE's homecoming queen of 1990).

Roger has been involved over the years in such community activities as the Mason County Eastern Board of Education, and has taught machine tool at West Shore Community College 2 evenings per week for the past 19 years.
