Windows XP Dial-Up Configuration

  1. Insert T-One.Net CD into CD Rom Drive
  2. When the T-One menu appears, click on the Dialer Configuration button (center option)
  3. At the next menu click on Install and Configure (top option).
  4. In the next screen select the T-One connection that is a local call for you, and then click OK
  5. Click OK again on the next screen.
  6. The next screen is the Select Modem screen. Find the down arrow just to the right of the white text box. Click the down arrow to bring up a list of possible connection types. Scroll through the list until you find your modem listed. It will more than likely be near or at the bottom of the list. Do not select the Direct Parallel option or any of the Wan Miniport options.
  7. Once your have your modem selected, click OK
  8. Enter your Login Username. This is the username you gave T-One when you initially set up the account. Your username must be entered in all small letters. No capitals.
  9. Enter your E-Mail Username. This will be the same as the Login Username. DO NOT enter @t-one.net here. Our program will add it for you.
  10. Enter your password. This will be the password you gave T-One when signing up the account. The password is case sensitive, so be sure to enter it EXACTLY as you gave it to us.
  11. Enter your Real Name. This can be anything you wish. Your real name, nick name, etc. It is what will show up in an e-mail you send as the information in the 'from' field.
  12. Organization may be left blank if you wish.
  13. Click OK
  14. Click OK on the next screen.
  15. Click cancel on the Connect Dial T-One screen
  16. Click EXIT from the T-One Configuration Menu
  17. Remove the T-One CD from your CD Rom Drive
  18. You should now be at the Desktop. Find the shortcut to Dial T-One and RIGHT CLICK on it and then select delete. Confirm the deletion by clicking on yes.
  19. Click Start
  20. Find the Connect To option on the right hand side of the Start Menu and place your mouse over it.
  21. This will expand the menu. Find and place your mouse over the the Dial T-One connection.
  22. RIGHT CLICK on the Dial T-One connection and then LEFT click on create shortcut.
  23. On the next screen Windows will notify you that the shortcut cannot be created there, and ask if you want it on the desktop instead. CLICK YES
  24. You will now have a shortcut to T-One on your desktop and your Internet connection should be ready for use.
