Changing DNS entries for a Macintosh OS X (10)

The following information is provided courtesy of:

  1. From the Apple Menu, select System Preferences...
    (You can also click on the System Preferences icon in the Dock.)

  2. Click on the icon for the Network System Preference. In the window that appears:
    1. Make sure the "Show" pop-up menu is set to: Internal Modem
    2. Click on the TCP/IP tab in the middle of the window
    3. Make sure the: "Configure" pop-up menu is set to: Using PPP

  3. In the DNS Servers box:
    Replace:
    208.216.23.209
    208.216.23.9

    with

    65.183.168.4
    65.183.168.210

  4. Click Apply Now button.

  5. Close the System Preferences window.

  6. You have successfully changed the DNS numbers on your connection.
